ORAL HABITS PREVENTION

[vc_column_text]Thumb sucking, fingers sucking, nail biting, tongue thrusting, mouth breathing and lip biting are the oral habits are mostly common for children. But these habits till 5 years is normal, beyond 5yrs if the habit continues it will cause tooth alignment problems.

To avoid this habit, there is fixed habit breaking appliance will be given to stop the habit permanently. This appliance hardly it will take 1 month to stop the habit. But have to wear the appliance for 6 months. So the habit will not relapse.

This habit correcting appliance, the child will find difficulty for a day. Days ago the child will get used to it. Once the habit is corrected the affected teeth will come back to normal position within 1 year.
